When a short–term need arises that calls for more attention and care in daily living, or if you simply want to experience the services, pleasures and benefits of retirement living “Amica style”, we have a number of options to match a variety of needs.

Rental terms are offered by the day, week or month (however we ask for at least one week advance notice).
Many of our communities offer hotel–like guest suites for seniors
who want a resort–style vacation without the travel time, or
for special circumstances where just a change of scenery will do them
a world of good! Whether it is to stay in an Amica™ located
close to family or friends you wish to visit, or to arrange accommodations
for a friend visiting from out of town, this attractive option allows
you or your guest the freedom to enjoy Amica's retirement lifestyle

Amica offers a special respite and convalescent program ideal for
anyone requiring short–term care and accommodation for medically
supervised recovery. Our Registered Staff provides excellent personal
care services, which can include bathing, dressing, grooming, medication
supervision and nursing services. If you or a loved one will be discharged
from hospital and need a little time and assistance to recover –
or perhaps a physical impediment makes it hard to immediately return
to your fully independent lifestyle, consider Amica™ to bridge
the gap.
Amica's VITALIS™ reNEW suites are specially equipped with recovery–supportive ergonomic furnishings and offer a special
convalescent program ideal for anyone requiring short–term care and accommodation for medically supervised recovery after
planned surgery. Our on–site Registered Staff provides excellent personal care services, which can include bathing, dressing,
grooming, medication supervision and nursing services, in a spa–like environment. We work closely with your physician to ensure
we assist in your physiotherapy program, and communities with a pool offer excellent aqua therapy on–site. If you or a loved one
will be discharged from hospital and need a little time and assistance to recover, an all–inclusive Amica™ reNEW suite may
be the ideal solution, for peace of mind and a well–planned recovery.
